In North Delhi's Burari, the BJP organized a 'Thank You Modi ji' rally, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for decisions to resume land mutations in rural villages and eliminate mandatory no objection certificates for power connections in certain parts of the city. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva referred to these actions as a "Diwali gift" for village residents and those in unauthorized colonies, emphasizing that these issues were resolved after the party's MPs discussed them with LG VK Saxena. Sachdeva commended the Modi government for addressing the concerns of residents by simplifying the process for electricity connections and reopening property mutations after a long period.

AAP, on the other hand, accused the BJP of taking credit for the work done by their government and attempting to deceive the public. They highlighted that the Delhi government offers the most affordable electricity rates in the country and questioned why BJP-ruled states do not provide free electricity if they genuinely care about the people. At the rally, Sachdeva discussed how restrictions had prevented property transfers to younger generations, indicating that these barriers have now been lifted in response to their requests. He also mentioned the removal of the DDA's NOC requirement for electricity connections in unauthorized colonies. Sachdeva expressed confidence in BJP's victory in the upcoming Delhi polls and promised additional benefits such as electricity and water subsidies for middle-class households. The prioritization of the Prime Minister's housing scheme, Ayushman Bharat, and the regularization of temporary workers such as home guards, bus marshals, and guest teachers would be the main focus. Sachdeva raised concerns about the AAP government's demolition of slums and stated that no colonies would be dismantled without offering alternative housing to residents under the BJP's leadership. Furthermore, he mentioned that the Nirmal Yamuna Plan aims to make the Yamuna pollution-free within a year.
